Position Information

Punchbowl Boys' High School is a highly inclusive and dynamic comprehensive high school located in South West Sydney, with a current enrolment of 490 students representing a culturally diverse community.

Selection Criteria
  1. Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  2. Demonstrated ability to differentiate curriculum and pedagogy to effectively support a range of student learning needs driven by Personalised Learning and Support Plans.
  3. Ability to use effective classroom management skills to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that fosters high expectations.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all key stakeholders (students, parents, colleagues, community, support agencies) to meet the needs of students and achieve improved outcomes.
Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
