An exciting opportunity exists in our Spring Hill office for an ICT Support Officer to provide first and second-level local and remote IT support across Master Builders' desktop systems and related services. The role is also responsible for logging and managing requests through the IT Helpdesk system, ensuring all support issues are resolved or appropriately escalated in a timely manner. Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Log and monitor user support enquiries requiring technical advice and support
  • Diagnose, prioritise and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalate unresolved problems through appropriate IT procedures
  • Maintain support enquiries according to procedures
  • Assist in the development of solutions to counter problematic trends
  • Document problems and related solutions for future reference
  • Installation of desktop hardware and software as required
  • Undertake research tasks on IT related matters as instructed by the General Manager – ICT & Information Security
  • Provide end-user training and support on the effective application of core Microsoft products and services

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Good problem-solving skills
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and remotely
  • Positive attitude and a high level of enthusiasm
  • Willingness to learn and develop professional skills/knowledge
  • Appropriate experience or qualifications in supporting a predominately Microsoft and HP desktop environment
  • Class C or CA driver's license
