Full Time Senior Account Manager - Newcastle and NSW Northern Region

Bayton is a trusted provider of cleaning and facilities services across Australia, known for delivering quality, compliance, and care. We're seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships and oversee service delivery across a diverse portfolio of contracts.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine strategic client management with operational oversight to ensure excellence across every site.

Our award winning company has grown to become one of Australia's largest privately-owned cleaning companies. We currently provide cleaning and maintenance services to over 450 sites in NSW, QLD and VIC employing over 1000 dedicated cleaning specialists.

The role

The Senior Account Manager's responsibilities include:

  • Managing the cleaning services operations of a portfolio of over 25+ Aged / Health support sites across Newcastle and NSW Northern Region.
  • Quality reporting, auditing and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Line management, training and coaching of a team of Cleaning Staff
  • Contract management ensuring SLA's and QEHS deliverables are being met
  • Contractor and service provider management to ensure delivery of service
  • Allocate and distribute machinery and materials
  • Out of hours or weekend work may be required.
  • Ensure the cleaning standard on each site is exemplary through people management, coaching, and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Managing client relationships with a focus on promoting the company brand in a positive manner.
  • Maintain and track budgets for each site
  • Timesheet approvals and management
  • Actively look for opportunities to upsell Bayton services

To Be Successful

  • At least 2 years previous experience as a Senior Account Manager / Operations Manager or similar
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Vendor / Contractor liaison experience
  • Proficient in the use of technology including MS Outlook, Excel
  • Must be self-motivated, passionate and results driven
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence a must.
  • Australian Citizen or valid Right to Work.
  • Full compliance with all state/federal government public health mandates.
