About the role

Gipplsand Truck Centre is seeking a Part Store Supervisor to join our team in Leongatha, VIC. This is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our new TRP Parts store and ensuring the highest level of customer service and timely delivery of parts to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the parts department staff to ensure optimal productivity and customer service
  2. Manage inventory levels, reordering, and stock control to meet customer demands
  3. Assist with the processing of orders, including order entry, invoicing, and delivery scheduling
  4. Provide technical support and advice to customers on parts selection and compatibility
  5. Collaborate with the supporting departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  6. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on parts department performance
  7. Implement and enforce safety and quality standards within the parts department

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a parts supervisor or manager in the trucking, automotive, or a similar industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of truck parts and components
  3. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  4. Proficient in inventory management and stock control practices
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
  6. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
  7. Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
