Administration Officers - Councils Across Melbourne

We're currently seeking experienced Administration Officers to join various local councils across Melbourne. These are on- roles (no remote work at this stage) offering excellent exposure within local government and an opportunity to contribute to your community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • provide administrative support to various departments within the council
  • perform accurate data entry and maintain high attention to detail
  • manage diaries, appointments and correspondence
  • deliver exceptional phone and email service to internal and external stakeholders
  • assist with document preparation, filing and general office duties

About you:

  • previous local government or public sector experience highly regarded
  • strong administrative and organizational skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • ability to work effectively in a team and manage competing priorities
  • must have current police check, working with children check
