Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Systems Officer to support the delivery of technology projects on a 6 month contract. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in business systems analysis and a keen interest in project coordination within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analysing business system changes and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the documentation and specification of business system requirements.
  • Participate in testing activities and provide support for business systems.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, and communications across teams.
  • Monitor project timelines, risks, and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and project reporting.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience analysing business system changes and process improvements.
  • Exposure to large, custom-built applications—experience in legal or similar environments is a plus.
  • Strong skills in documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Experience in system testing and user support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
