Role Overview:

The ServiceNow Technical Consultant will support the design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow modules, focusing on ITSM, Service Design, and Now Assist capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Service Catalog management, SLAs, and CMDB configuration, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality ServiceNow solutions under the guidance of senior architects and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.


• Contribute to the setup and customization of Service Catalog items, workflows, and approvals.


• Support the configuration and integration of Now Assist and AI-driven ServiceNow features.


• Work on Service Design artifacts, ensuring alignment with established service delivery models.


• Develop and maintain SLAs, notifications, and performance metrics for IT services.


• Conduct CMDB data loads, reconciliation, and maintenance to ensure data accuracy and relationships.


• Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to deliver configured solutions that meet business requirements.


• Participate in testing, documentation, and user training for ServiceNow modules.


• Provide ongoing support and enhancement of deployed ServiceNow solutions.


• Learn and stay current with new ServiceNow releases and platform features.

Required Skills and Experience:


• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration or development.


• Exposure to Now Assist configuration or integration with ITSM modules.


• Practical understanding of Service Catalog design and Service Level Agreements.


• Strong knowledge of CMDB structure, relationships, and data import processes.


• Basic scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API) and familiarity with Flow Designer or IntegrationHub.


• Understanding of ITIL processes and service design principles.


• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within delivery teams.

Desirable Attributes:


• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.


• Exposure to Generative AI capabilities or workflow automation in ServiceNow.


• Experience in Agile or DevOps-based project environments.


• Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and grow into an advanced technical or architectural role.
