1st Year Commercial Carpentry Apprenticeship – Tier 1 Projects

Are you ready to kickstart your career in commercial carpentry and get hands-on experience building some of Sydney's most exciting projects? Join us as a 1st Year Commercial Carpentry Apprentice and work on apartment towers, hospitals, office buildings, and metro stations—all while learning from experienced tradespeople in a supportive, team-based environment.

Some of Your Duties Will Include:

  • Using power tools: impact driver, hammer drill, drop saw, circular saw
  • Using hand tools: tape measure, nips, Stanley knife, hammer, spirit levels
  • Installing fencing into concrete slabs and reading construction plans
  • Erecting and dismantling small scaffolds
  • Building timber stairs and handrails for site access
  • Operating elevated work platforms (EWP)
  • Learning from and supporting a variety of subcontract trades on-site

  • Enjoyment of practical, manual work.
