At Coates, we're proud to be Australia's leading equipment and engineering solutions company — supporting major infrastructure and construction projects across the country. We're now looking for an Engineering Solutions Specialist to join our high-performing team in Dandenong and play a key role in delivering innovative, practical solutions for our customers.

You'll be part of our Engineering Solutions Team, providing end-to-end temporary works design, project management, installation support, and certification services across our specialist product range — including Shoring, Structural Propping, Water Management, and Water Treatment.

What you'll do

In this dynamic, field-based role, you'll enjoy a mix of technical problem-solving, relationship-building, and commercial responsibility:

  • Partner with local and regional sales and operations teams to drive product awareness and technical expertise.
  • Visit customer sites to assess challenges and identify how Coates' engineered solutions can make their projects safer, smarter, and more efficient.
  • Build strong relationships with civil and construction contractors, designers, and project teams.
  • Champion Coates' Safety-First culture, ensuring best practice on every site.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in technical solution selling within at least one key area — Shoring, Structural Propping, or Water Management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical expertise into customer value.
  • A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience, curiosity, and a desire to learn, grow, and progress within Coates.
