Utility Solutions Group Pty Ltd (USG) is an expert utility service provider, specializing in installation and maintenance of underground and overhead electrical infrastructure, as well as public lighting and Intelligent transport systems.

Utility Solutions Group based in the South East and has a vacancy for an experienced Electrical design engineer.

Field role - includes:

  • Undertake site inspections to gather electrical and lighting asset data

  • Produce detailed underground and overhead electrical designs for DNSP

  • Powercor

  • Ausnet
  • Jemena
  • United Energy
  • Ensure compliance with distributor drafting standards and relevant Australian codes
  • Work closely with internal design and engineering teams for coordination and review

  • Manage project priorities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

  • Team player, able to work independently as well as within the team.

  • Attention to detail, speed & accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • OH&S - commitment to health & safety
  • The use of PPE

Required training and company vehicle will be provided.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (overtime may be required)

Salary negotiable

Preference

Previous Industry experience.

AutoCAD experience.
