The Client Services Senior Associate has crucially important responsibilities of FIIG's day to day operations. Reporting to the Team Leader Client Services this role supports the wider FIIG team by supporting the client care and onboarding functions for the business. This role is well suited to a reliable and eager professional who can consistently meet a service level agreement. This role is suitable someone who is looking to expand their skills in the intermediary back office functions in a complex financial services business.

While this position has clearly defined responsibilities the purpose of the role is to support the Client Services team, this means that a successful candidate will be able to complete their defined tasks but shouldn't hesitate to support the wider team. Being a team player and having a "can-do" attitude will make all the difference to succeeding in this role.

What Will You Be Doing
This role will have accountability for:

  • Complete the on-boarding process for new clients, counterparties and intermediaries
  • Perform AML/CTF checks and KYC due diligence
  • Assist with security and client static data maintenance
  • Ensure sign-off and control around all static data changes with relevant approvals
  • Prepare and distribute client documentation and take ownership of client queries
  • Answer client queries on the phone and on emails by monitoring the team email inbox
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of standard processes across the team
  • Coordinate seminars, training events and ad hoc tasks where required
  • Guide and mentor junior team members to build their knowledge and capability

We'd love to hear from passionate people who have:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience in financial services (preferably banking) or client services.
  • Tertiary degree in business or other associated disciplines
  • Enthusiasm and a helpful attitude
  • Comfort with autonomy and new tasks
  • An interest in learning new tasks and skills
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent people skills, with a willingness to exceed client expectations.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to handle high paced environment while delivering a high level of output at exceptional quality.
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and CRM solutions
