Are you an experienced Fit out Project Manager looking to deliver exceptional projects? We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the budget, project planning and organisation, implementation, administration, and scheduling of projects from conception to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner for the Construction Fit-out division of Versatile Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and drive project plans & programme to ensure the project is delivered on time to an excellent standard.
  • Manage budgets, programs, and contractual obligations with confidence
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure smooth completion of project and overall alignment of expectations and deadlines.
  • Assume responsibility for all commercial aspects of the project; budgets, costings, forecasting, financial reporting etc.
  • Monitor, document, and report on project progress on a regular basis.
  • Providing solutions and outside the box thinking to overcome complex site issues at every stage.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and wellbeing at all times.

About you

To be considered, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years' proven experience in project management within complex fit-out or construction projects
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent demonstrated industry experience).
  • Strong technical capability with systems including Jobpac, Buildlogic, Payapps, Procore, Aconnex, and MS Projects.
  • Expert knowledge of Work Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) practices and advanced understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and subcontractors, resolve complex project issues, and deliver to strict time, cost, and quality standards
  • A leadership style that builds engaged, collaborative, and resilient teams
