We're looking for a
Senior React Native Engineer
to take a lead role in delivering a seamless, high-performance user experience across iOS and Android. You'll be at the forefront of mobile engineering, shaping product direction, performance, and quality in a greenfield environment where your decisions will have global impact.

This role is based in
Sydney
with a hybrid work setup.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Architecting and developing a new mobile experience using
    React Native
    for a real-time global trading platform
  • Creating smooth, pixel-perfect UIs and optimizing app performance across devices and platforms
  • Collaborating with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to deliver high-impact features quickly and efficiently
  • Building out CI/CD pipelines and test automation for mobile deployments
  • Managing and improving the performance, responsiveness, and security of the mobile app
  • Championing mobile best practices and contributing to long-term technical strategy

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Deep expertise in React Native
    , including production-level experience shipping cross-platform apps
  • Strong proficiency in
    JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of native mobile capabilities, limitations, and how to bridge when needed (using native modules)
  • Experience working with
    Redux, Zustand
    , or other state management libraries
  • Skilled in debugging and optimizing performance across iOS and Android
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g. Detox, Jest, Appium)
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets or real-time data feeds

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience in FinTech, trading apps, or any high-traffic transactional platform
  • Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
  • CI/CD setup for mobile apps (e.g., Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience working in environments with high security, compliance, or regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics, A/B testing, and feature flagging systems
