For over 18 years, DARKON has led Australian architectural lighting – designing and manufacturing premium solutions for some of the nation's most iconic projects. From our purpose-built Melbourne facility, we produce high-end commercial lighting and are now seeking a motivated professional to drive our NSW growth story.

You'll be the face of DARKON in Sydney – representing our manufacturing capability, building trusted relationships, and expanding our presence across the state. The Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll lead DARKON's NSW sales activity – engaging architects, interior and lighting designers, engineers, builders, and electrical contractors.

You'll spend most of your time in the field – meeting clients, presenting solutions, and driving specification and project opportunities. With dedicated admin support from our Melbourne HQ, you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory and deliver results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan across NSW
  • Engage with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored lighting solutions
  • Reconnect dormant accounts and convert them into active clients
  • Lead presentations and events showcasing DARKON's design and manufacturing capability
  • Collaborate with internal project and operations teams for seamless delivery
  • Gather client feedback to support continuous improvement and product innovation
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in our SharePoint CRM

About You

You're commercially astute, technically confident, and driven by relationships and results. You understand how architectural projects move from concept to completion and thrive on staying connected to every stakeholder along the way.

You'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in lighting, A&D specification sales, or construction sales
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to turn complex project requirements into practical solutions
  • Self-motivation and independence, balanced with teamwork and collaboration
  • Experience with CRM systems and modern business tools
  • Australian work rights are mandatory for this position
