About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you'll work autonomously onsite to ensure the centre runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You'll also support a remote property management team, assisting with centre activations, tenant relations, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and making a visible impact in a local retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure service delivery meets performance targets.
  • Oversee compliance across OHS&E, risk management, building regulations, and essential services.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and reporting deadlines.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities for capital improvements and manage project delivery.
  • Assist with centre activations and promotional activities
  • Support tenant engagement and relationship requirements
  • Handle day-to-day administration and reporting requirements
  • Develop long-term operational strategies for the centre.
  • Support a collaborative and safe environment for tenants and visitors.

About You

  • Proven experience in facilities or operations management within retail, property, or a related industry.
  • Strong financial and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable with hands-on tasks when required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data interpretation.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams
