Provide a confidential and professional corporate support service to the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM).

We need someone with:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional manner in writing and verbally to interact effectively with a range of executives and staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking administrative duties with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to be discrete, maintain confidentiality and discern sensitive issues.
  • Organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm and produce quality work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently without supervision, to work under pressure and complete tasks within required time frames and with high accuracy.
  • Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other NTG systems, including TRIPS, NTGPay and Expense8.
  • Knowledge of the structures of the Ministerial Offices and portfolios, the NT Government agencies and the Electorate Offices.

You will:

Under the guidance of the Corporate Services Manager:

  • Undertake travel bookings as directed for OCM and assist with audits of travel reports.
  • Process accounts payable for OCM and maintain the ordering of office supplies.
  • Undertake other administrative and ad-hoc duties as needed.
  • Assist with the delivery and allocation of information technology services and equipment to all Ministerial suites and maintain a register of allocated equipment to all staff.
  • Carry out monthly audits of ICT equipment allocated to staff for billing purposes.
  • Assist with the management and booking of pool vehicles, including pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Be available to work after hours as required.
