About the Role

We are seeking motivated and reliable Telecommunications Cable Haulers / Pit & Pipe Labourers to join our growing team. You'll be working on a variety of fibre optic network projects, assisting with the installation, hauling, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hauling and installing fibre optic through conduit systems
  • Assisting with pit and pipe installation, excavation, and reinstatement
  • Operating winches, hauling equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Performing general site labouring duties as required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to quality standards
  • Following instructions from supervisors and working collaboratively with the crew

Requirements

  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) — essential
  • Current driver's licence — essential
  • Experience in telecommunications, civil, or construction labouring — highly regarded
  • Pit & pipe or cable hauling experience — preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
  • Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious

Desirable Tickets (Not Essential)

  • Traffic Control (Stop/Slow)
  • HR or MR license
  • First Aid / CPR
  • Confined Space / Working at Heights
  • NBN Enable, Telstra, or other network accreditation
