About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehousing person to join the team at Savwinch Pty Ltd, based in our Tullamarine, Victoria location. In this full-time/part-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient operation of the Warehouse including inventory management, keeping warehouse in clean condition and packing and effective distribution of goods.

What you'll be doing

  1. Implementing efficient warehousing and inventory management using Zoho
  2. Coordinating the activities of the warehouse to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures
  3. Optimising warehouse layout and workflow to maximise space utilisation and minimise operational costs
  4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and providing regular reporting on stock levels, inbound/outbound goods, and other key performance metrics
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  6. Picking, packing and dispatch of orders
  7. Managing freight accounts with major freight suppliers

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehousing or logistics management role, preferably within the manufacturing or transport industry
  2. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and distribution logistics
  3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  4. Proficient in using warehouse management software and data analysis
  5. Strong communication skills
  6. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  7. Physically fit, able to do heavy lifting and manual handling
  8. Experience in small to medium dispatch operations
  9. Ability to learn and adopt multiple pick/pack systems
