We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining high standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Duties Include:

  • Plan menus and estimate food and labor costs alongside the head chef
  • Order food supplies and manage inventory levels efficiently.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Discuss food preparation and service with Managers and collaborate with the team.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and practice a high standard of food preparation procedures
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients to a high standard
  • Explain and enforce hygiene and safety regulations
  • May oversee the freezing and preserving of foods to maintain freshness

Requirement.

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior staff where required
  • at least three years of experience in a similar role required.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (based on experience) plus superannuation.
