About the role

As the orchestrator of our construction endeavours, you'll be entrusted with developing and managing project-specific scopes of work and procurement schedules, ensuring seamless coordination and meticulous attention to detail throughout every stage. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating the intricacies of high-end residential construction, delivering exceptional results that surpass client expectations.

You'll be at the forefront of crafting the success stories of Cadence & Co's through;

  • Developing comprehensive project-specific scopes of work and procurement schedules, meticulously outlining deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure project success.
  • Coordinating and managing all project and site documentation, maintaining records to facilitate seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing and negotiating subcontract tenders, leveraging your expertise to secure competitive bids while upholding our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
  • Managing project expenditure against budget, diligently tracking costs and expenses to optimize resource allocation and mitigate financial risks.
  • Processing progress and delay claims, advocating for fair and equitable resolutions while maintaining project momentum and adherence to timelines.
  • Assisting with financial tracking and forecasting, providing valuable insights into project performance and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Liaising and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, subcontractors/suppliers, consultants, and team members, fostering collaboration and synergy across all project facets.

About you

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • High-end residential experience
  • 3-5 Years experience as Construction Project Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and engineering plans
  • Sound knowledge of construction methods
  • Previous experience in reading, understanding and interpreting contractual documents, specifications and drawings
  • Experience with project management software
  • Experience mentoring with strong leadership skills
  • Background in on-site Construction is highly regarded

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Construction Management or similar (desirable)
  • White Card and driver's licence
