The Position

We're looking for a skilled HR professional to join our People Services team as a Senior Advisor – People and Performance. In this pivotal role, you'll provide expert HR advice and lead case management across a range of complex matters. You'll play a key role in implementing the Reef Authority's enterprise agreement, policies, and procedures, while supporting managers to build high-performing, values-driven teams.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, drive continuous improvement, and deliver streamlined, professional HR services. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of the Reef Authority while growing your own professional capabilities in a supportive and dynamic team.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years' experience in HR, employee relations or case management
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to conduct workplace enquiries and deliver evidence-based advice
  • Experience interpreting enterprise agreements and HR legislation
  • Pragmatic judgment, ethical professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of APS frameworks and HR policy (desirable)
  • Qualifications in HR, workplace relations or investigations (desirable)
  • Experience in coaching or mediation (desirable)
