We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team and help drive people initiatives that support operational excellence. This is more than just an advisory role — it's an opportunity to truly partner with leaders to build a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this position is integral to ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of People and Culture services, supporting employees and leaders with workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. You will be a trusted point of contact for all People related matters, working closely with teams on-site to provide practical, people-focused solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business.
- Provide expert support across the full employee lifecycle including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding
- Partner with leaders to manage complex employee relations matters including misconduct, grievances, and investigations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policy.
- Assist in implementing workforce planning, performance, talent development, and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain and utilise HR systems and data to deliver accurate reports and workforce insights.
- Provide guidance on remuneration, benefits, and recognition programs
- Support the development and continuous improvement of people policies, frameworks, and processes
- Analyse HR metrics to deliver data-driven insights.
- Support organisational development programs aligned with business strategy.
What We're Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a HR generalist or business partnering role (5+ years) in a medium-sized, operational or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and industrial instruments.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proven capability in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and data-informed decision-making
- A proactive, strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability and a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
