The Operations Manager oversees and optimises the overall operations at Lex Medicus to achieve operational excellence. This role involves coordinating and implementing strategies to ensure efficient production, delivery, and service, while also maintaining high standards of quality, including customer and medical expert satisfaction, engagement and retention. The Operations Manager is responsible for driving productivity, cost-effectiveness, and compliance across various regions or locations to achieve growth, strategic goals and objectives. The Operations Manager ensures that Lex Medicus' operations run smoothly, staff are productive and engaged, whilst fostering a positive culture according to Lex Medicus' values.

Job Description
Operations:
- Oversee and optimise overall operations, implementing strategies to ensure high-quality, efficient production, delivery, and service.
- Develop strategy and execute plans to meet budget and growth targets, while optimising cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Implement systems for knowledge management and continuous improvement across all business areas.
- Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and encourage and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing operational team, providing mentorship and guidance to Operational Teams.
- Collaborate closely with all departments of Lex Medicus to ensure successful implementation and execution of overall budget and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of new staff, including regular supervision and performance management of team members.
- Foster a customer-focused organisational culture committed to service excellence.
- A 'hands on" leadership style.
- Loyalty and ability to inspire and lead a very committed and professional team who have great pride in the organisation.
General:
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Maintain active knowledge of work health and safety practices, adhering to all policies and procedures.
- Undertake project work and complete required training as determined by the business.
- Promote and support practices that are inclusive, responsive, safe, and accessible #Lex Medixus
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Leadership and/ or Human Resources or related discipline (desirable)
- Leadership experience
- Industry experience (desirable)
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
- Strategic management experience as a senior manager.
- Commercial acumen to drive business growth, profitability, quality initiatives and operational excellence.
- Outstanding leadership expertise within large teams.
Personal Attributes/ Competencies:
- High levels of emotional intelligence

- People leader with strong integrity and empathy
- Able to analyse evidence-based data to make clear, concise, confident changes
