Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic located in Darwin, NT. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as vehicle and equipment maintenance, diagnosing and repairing diesel engine issues, performing preventive maintenance, and servicing heavy equipment. The role involves working closely with a team of experienced technicians to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of machinery used in various industries.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Plant Maintenance and Diesel Engines.
  • Experience in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
  • Proficiency with Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Experience in the mining, construction, or civil engineering industries is a plus
