About Our Client
Our client provide light and heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, boilermaking, welding and equipment hire services. Our team is dedicated to providing high-calibre customer service for ensured customer satisfaction.

Are you a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking for your next FIFO opportunity? Were seeking a motivated and experienced mechanic to join our dynamic team on a2:1 roster, flying out of Darwin. This is a day shift only role with12-hour shifts, offering a great work-life balance and the chance to work on a wide variety of equipment in a supportive, high-performing environment.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Servicing and repairing road trains,Isuzu trucks, and lighting plants
  • Scheduled maintenance and diagnostics on Caterpillar mining equipment
  • Performing brakes and bearings work on BPW axles
  • Responding to breakdowns and providing site-based support
  • Air-conditioning maintenance and general mechanical troubleshooting
  • Working both in our workshop and on remote LV operations in East Arnhem Land

What You Will Need

  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic with 4+ years post-trade experience (Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate)
  • Road train and light truck experience is essential
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to jump in and assist across a variety of mechanical tasks
  • High-Risk Forklift Licence(mandatory)
  • Dogging Licence(or willingness to obtain)
  • Riggers Licence(desirable)
