About the RoleWe're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll officer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services across all payroll functions. If you're ready to bring your payroll expertise to a values-driven organisation, we'd love to hear from you  Key activities:

  • Ensure that all payroll functions are carried out in accordance with the standard payroll procedures.
  • Contribute to Bolton Clarke's compliance obligations through the analysis of data, trends and assistance provided to all levels of the business.
  • Make payments to superannuation funds and ensure compliance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation.
  • Participate in the computerised processing of the fortnightly payroll and maintain master file data for all employees.
  • Contribute by "working on the system" to improve both payroll systems and processes in order to remain current with best practice.
  • Process all pay enquiries in a timely manner and communicate to staff and/or managers regarding outcomes from such enquiries.

About You

  • 2-3 years' experience in a computerised payroll environment, preferably in a large, multisite organisation.
  • Computer skills in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Pay Global and Human Force (or similar).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to providing high level customer service.
