Experienced Administration Receptionist

St Mark's Coptic Orthodox College is a K–12 co-educational College in Wattle Grove, committed to academic excellence underpinned by the Christian values of the Coptic Orthodox tradition. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administration Receptionist to join our Front Office team.
This is a key front-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and professional support.
About the Role
The Administration Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, professional, well groomed and calm under pressure, with a warm, welcoming approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and assisting students, parents, staff, and visitors
- Managing phone calls, email enquiries, and front desk operations
- Handling student attendance, early departures, late arrivals, and wellbeing-related administration
- Assisting with general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Supporting the coordination of events, room bookings, and deliveries
- Upholding confidentiality, accuracy, and College standards in all interactions
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive administration team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a reception and administrative role (school setting preferred)
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with SEQTA or school based student system highly regarded
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills with attention to detail
- A calm, friendly, and professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A current NSW Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Provide an example of when you were responsible for managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously. What tools or systems did you use, and how did you ensure accuracy, prioritisation, and efficiency in your work?
