Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Female Disability Support Worker located in or willing to travel to Breakfast Point, NSW. This role requires a support worker who is passionate, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative while delivering high-quality care.

Work Schedule

  • Monday & Tuesday: 10am – 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support in daily living activities.
  • Assist with mobility, grooming, and routines as needed.
  • Plan and prepare meals, considering any dietary requirements.
  • Support the client with light household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Drive the client to appointments, activities, or outings (reliable car required).
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster independence and social engagement.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail in carrying out care tasks and following routines.
  • Be proactive in identifying needs and using initiative to ensure the client's wellbeing.

Essential Criteria (ordered by importance)

  • Female Support Worker (required).
  • Current Driver's License and reliable car (mandatory).
  • NDIS Worker's Check.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Police Clearance Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
  • Passionate, empathetic, and caring personality.
  • Proactive, able to take initiative, and keen attention to detail.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
