Female Youth Support Worker – Youth work (St Marys 2760)

Sleepover & Day Shifts Available

We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic Female Support Worker to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals living with disability. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the daily lives and wellbeing of our participants through person-centred support.

The participant currently resides in St Marys 2760, NSW, and we are looking for someone who is available for both day shifts and sleepover shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting participants with in-home care and personal routines
  • Assisting with community access and social engagement
  • Providing emotional and social support to encourage independence
  • Promoting a safe, respectful, and empowering environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 6 months experience in youth work or community services sector
  • Willingness to engage with participants at their own pace and ability
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, compassion, and patience
  • Flexible and reliable with a genuine commitment to quality care
  • Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement under Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Experience:

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
  • Working with Children Check (Required)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Required)
  • National Police Certificate (Required)
  • Driver Licence (Required)
