Female Disability Support Worker

**About the role**:
Are you an experienced support worker with a great sense of humour and a love of the 70’s looking to build a great rapport with Clients in Victoria Point area? If this sounds like you, we might have the perfect Disability Support Worker role for you.

Our lovely Client is a male that is looking to build an amazing team. The ideal Support Worker for our Client is experienced in hoisting and bowel therapy. If you describe yourself as a fun and bubbly person with an eye for detail you might be exactly what our Client is looking for -He is looking for Support Workers who are willing to be a team player, have a strong sense of communication skills and willing to learn routines fast. Our Client has requested female Support Workers. Only female applicants will be considered for this role.

The role will involve support with personal cares, hoist transfers and light domestic duties.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers who have availability for shifts during**:
**Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 5 hours AM- 2 hours PM**
**Tuesday and Thursday 2 hours AM - 2 hours PM**
**Saturday 3.5 hours AM - 2 hours PM**
**Sunday 3.5 hours AM - 2 Hours PM**

**Our payrate Monday - Sunday $33.21 - $58.30.**

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be successful you must**:_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or similar.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
