With a growing team and an exciting line-up of work coming up, they are looking for an experienced Business Systems Administrator to join the team.

About the role

As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring systems are stable, optimised and providing effective solutions so that the business can make informed, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with key stakeholders and vendors on enhancements and bug fixes, manage system and data integrity, and create reports and visualisations that provide valuable insights. Your responsibilities span application and integration trouble shooting, vendor management, data management, data analysis & visualisations, systems administration and stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs for enhancements, reports/ visualisations and troubleshooting of bugs to translate them into clear, effective technical solutions.
  • Manage small enhancement and support / bug fix projects related to integration, applications and data through effective vendor management.
  • Maintain and develop simple dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Perform root cause analysis and data validation to support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and administer core data systems, ensuring data integrity, security and availability.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with IT and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

About you

You are an approachable, collaborative team player, problem solver and communicator. Specific technical skills, knowledge and experience required for this role include:

  • Experience supporting business systems and reporting applications, including troubleshooting of data and integration issues with strong vendor collaboration.
  • Experience working with vendors to manage enhancement or bug fixes, achieving quality outcomes, on time and on budget.
  • Skilled in data analysis, data validation, data modelling and report/ visualisation creation and management.
  • Experience managing data systems and system configurations.
  • Skilled in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Fabric and Azure (SharePoint, Teams and Viva Engage is desirable).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic thinker, experienced in identifying root causes and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Skilled in presenting complex data and system concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in data governance and security best practice.
