About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and organised HR Coordinator to join our team in a part-time (0.6 FTE) remote position. Our business is expanding, so this may increase to 0.8 or full time for the right candidate. This role will oversee the day-to-day human resources functions across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee support. You'll ensure smooth processes across Employment Hero, maintain HR documentation and compliance, and help strengthen our workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including writing position descriptions, posting advertisements, screening candidates, and preparing contracts.
- Manage Employment Hero, including compliance dashboards, training modules (GO1), and staff documentation.
- Deliver HR inductions and ensure all new starters complete mandatory training and policy acknowledgements.
- Track probations, anniversaries, and supervisions; maintain accurate HR and compliance records.
- Oversee WorkCover claims, staff wellbeing (EAP program), and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related enquiries, supporting team leads and staff with general HR processes including PIPs, supervision and probation reviews.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in HR coordination, administration, or compliance-based roles.
- Strong understanding of HR systems and legislation (Fair Work, NES, SCHADS).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience with Employment Hero (or similar HRIS) highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in a remote environment.
- A passion for supporting positive workplace culture and staff wellbeing.
