Are you a payroll professional with a passion for precision and a knack for navigating global complexities? Join CPA Australia as our Payroll Specialist and play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless payroll experience across all our locations.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People Services, you'll be the go-to expert for all things payroll—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the employee lifecycle. This is more than just processing numbers; it's about enhancing the employee experience and supporting our People & Culture strategy. This is a contract role until January 2027
Your Key Duties will include:
- Manage monthly payroll for all CPA Australia locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
 - Partner with our outsourced payroll provider to maintain high service standards.
 - Oversee end-of-period and end-of-financial-year payroll activities globally.
 - Provide exceptional support to employees and stakeholders on payroll matters.
 - Maintain and improve payroll policies and procedures for compliance and consistency.
 - Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate information.
 - Stay ahead of legislative changes to ensure global compliance.
 - Deliver accurate People & Culture payroll reporting to mitigate risk.
 - Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP SuccessFactors 'PeopleHub'.
 - Assist with the annual remuneration review through data analysis and reporting.
 
About You
- Proven experience managing payroll, ideally across multiple global locations.
 - Familiarity with ADP Payforce and ADP Streamline is a plus.
 - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
 - Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
 - Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
 - Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
 - Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality work.
