Kennedys is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Sydney office to meet the needs of our growing Liability practice.

Working closely with one of Australia's leading personal injury Partners, Lucinda Lyons, and wider team of experienced Lawyers, you will be heavily exposed to a variety of insurance matters such as; complex liability and high-value personal injury matters, allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome.

As an accredited specialist in personal injury, Lucinda's experience includes providing coverage, defence, strategic and commercial advice, and preparing and conducting criminal and civil litigation. Lucinda's expertise extends across sexual abuse claims and matters within the disability sector.

Cases

  • High-value personal injury claims
  • Defective premises/Property damage
  • Product/Public liability
  • Both pre-litigation and litigated files

Required Experience

  • 5 years' + post admission experience in insurance matters
  • Strong knowledge and experience in litigation and insurance law, including personal injury and public liability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
