About the role

Prestige Pontoons' is seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Molendinar, Queensland. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to the manufacturing of high-quality pontoons and other marine aluminium products.

What you'll be doing

  • Welding and fabricating aluminium components to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Operating various fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and tools
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to quality standards
  • Assisting with general workshop duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as an Aluminium Welder/Fabricator, preferably in the marine or transportation industries
  • Strong welding skills and the ability to produce high-quality welds to Australian standards
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Forklift licence and experience would be highly regarded
