About the role

Sunstate Glass is seeking a dedicated Glazier or Glass Worker to join our team in Warana, Queensland. This is a full-time position, with the Sunshine Coast's leading glass company. As a key member of our skilled trades team, you will play an integral role in the installation, repair and maintenance of glass products across commercial and residential properties. With a wide variety of work, no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install a variety of glass products including windows, doors, and mirrors
  • Perform skilled glazing tasks such as glazing, re-glazing, and glass replacement
  • Operate power tools and hand tools required for glass cutting, fitting, and installation
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout projects
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the workshop and equipment
  • Install balustrade systems
  • Fabricate and install aluminum frames for commercial applications

What we're looking for

  • Experienced glazier, commercial aluminum fabricator, pool fencing and balustrading installer
  • Previous experience in aluminum framing fabrication and balustrade installation would be highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • A passion for the building and construction industry
  • Ability to fit into our tight knit high performing team
