About the role

We have a full time permanent opportunity for a skilled Welder to join our Small Boats production team, based in Coomera on the northern end of the Gold Coast. This role will ensure that our small boats (up to 4m range) are built to the highest possible standards and quality. Experience working with Aluminium is highly desirable, as is both MIG and TIG experience.

This is a full time, permanent role working 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

- Learn how to fabricate and build aluminium boats
- Fabricate and weld boat and PWC trailers
- TIG welding skills highly desirable
- Weld aluminium extrusion and unpainted sheet metal
- Work towards, and maintain allocated build time frames to ensure the smooth flow of production
- Produce neat and quality welds daily
- Use equipment such as power tools, pneumatic tools, band saws, hand tools and welders

Qualifications / Desired Skills
