Position Summary:
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, financial oversight, customer service, and compliance with health and safety standards. The role requires a proactive and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service

  • Manage and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff

  • Coordinate staff recruitment, induction, training, and scheduling

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service quality and profitability

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

  • Manage inventory and supplier relationships

  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • AQF Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent overseas qualification)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar management role within the hospitality industry

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities

  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, food and beverage service, and workplace safety standards

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
