Lead Generation and Marketing Officer

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Language Disorder Australia Full time $70,000 - $120,000 per year

Language Disorder Australia is seeking a passionate Lead Generation & Marketing Officer to drive our outreach and enhance brand visibility across our specialist school (Mancel College) and other business units.

Position:
Lead Generation & Marketing Officer

Location:
Mancel College @ Fig Tree Pocket, Brisbane (with occasional travel)

Position Type:
Full Time, Permanent

Start Date:
As soon as possible

As our Lead Generation & Marketing Officer, you won't just "promote", you'll champion the mission of Language Disorder Australia, bridging communities and families with our specialist education and allied health services.

Working within a values-driven organisation, you'll showcase our programs, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with a wide network of stakeholders, ensuring that children and young people with Language Disorder can connect, belong, and achieve.

We believe the services we provide and the impact we make truly transform lives, and we need a creative storyteller who can share these stories far and wide, sparking awareness and interest in the life-changing work we do. By amplifying our message and helping more people discover our offerings, you'll extend our reach and ensure that children and young people who need our support can access it, ultimately making a tangible, lasting difference.

In this role, you'll combine data-driven strategies with compelling narratives, forging new partnerships, launching targeted campaigns, and ensuring meaningful follow-ups with prospective students and clients. Your enthusiasm for connecting people to life-changing services will strengthen our capacity to serve even more children, young people, and families. Join us, and together, we'll continue transforming lives, one connection at a time.

WHY LANGUAGE DISORDER AUSTRALIA

We are known for our innovative approach and multidisciplinary services, including education, therapy, and advocacy. Our team is driven by the conviction that every child can connect, belong, and achieve.

By joining us, you become an integral part of a passionate community that values Service, Passion, Excellence, Accountability, Kindness, Empowerment, and Respect.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a
Lead Generation & Marketing Officer you will:

  • Identify potential student/client markets, build partnerships with schools and community groups, and maintain a robust pipeline with timely follow-ups.
  • Plan and coordinate events (shows, exhibitions) to showcase Language Disorder Australia's services, and foster meaningful relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns (digital and traditional), deliver presentations to prospective audiences, and create engaging outreach materials.
  • Demonstrate formal presentation experience with ability to engage prospective audiences effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Enrolments Manager to seamlessly hand over quality leads, coordinate with business unit managers, and oversee complementary marketing efforts.
  • Implement and maintain a CRM system, track lead generation activities, and present recommendations for ongoing strategy improvements.
  • Uphold all relevant admissions, privacy, and data protection requirements, ensuring integrity and confidentiality in all interactions.

The successful candidate will possess 3-5 years of marketing experience to effectively drive our lead generation and outreach initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT DO

  • Work in isolation. This role is built on collaboration across our school, therapy teams, families, community, and organisation.
  • Promote something you don't believe in. This is meaningful work, not just marketing.
  • Avoid accountability. This role sets a high bar. You'll be trusted to take ownership and follow through with excellence.
  • Leave stories untold. You'll give voice to the real experiences of children and families, stories that deserve to be seen and heard.

BENEFITS:

What can we give you in return for your passion:

  • An exceptionally satisfying experience as you connect those that need support with the right support.
  • Professional Development: Expand your skill set with opportunities for transdisciplinary development, external and internal growth opportunities.
  • More take home pay: How can we offer this? A little-known fact is that as a Not-For Profit organisation, we can offer our employees Salary Packaging options to boost their take-home pay by 6% - 12% per annum (up to $7,500 increase in the amount you take home and spend, rather than going to taxes).
  • Annual salary increment progression PLUS yearly 3% salary increases as outlined in our Enterprise Agreement
  • More extras: 17.5% annual leave loading, 1 day of paid Health Screening Leave, 14 weeks Paid Parental Leave, Discounts with Medibank Health Insurance, Novated Car Leasing.
