Receptionist / Accounts Assistant

We are an established professional practice based in West End looking for a receptionist and accounts assistant to join our team. This person should be enthusiastic and proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the firm's external bookkeeper and accounts in undertaking the financial processes of the business including payroll, invoicing, creditors, debt collecting and financial reporting
- Statutory reporting
- Maintaining insurances, policies, and procedures
- Assisting in staff induction and on-boarding
- Event organisation for seminars and office events
- General data entry, record keeping and asset management
- Maintaining filing and archiving systems
- Stationery and stock control
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A high attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Experience/knowledge at entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail
- A willingness to increase skill base as required
- A friendly and positive attitude
