We are an established professional practice based in West End looking for a receptionist and accounts assistant to join our team. This person should be enthusiastic and proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the firm's external bookkeeper and accounts in undertaking the financial processes of the business including payroll, invoicing, creditors, debt collecting and financial reporting
  • Statutory reporting
  • Maintaining insurances, policies, and procedures
  • Assisting in staff induction and on-boarding
  • Event organisation for seminars and office events
  • General data entry, record keeping and asset management
  • Maintaining filing and archiving systems
  • Stationery and stock control

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
  • Experience/knowledge at entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail
  • A willingness to increase skill base as required
  • A friendly and positive attitude
