Medical Receptionist - Holland Park Family Medical Practice

We are seeking a warm and motivated Medical Receptionist to become part of our caring, high-performing team.

About the Role

As the first point of call, you'll create a positive experience for the patients while keeping the running smoothly. This is a fast paced role requiring strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.

Key tasks include:

  • Greeting and assisting patients
  • Managing phone calls and appointment book
  • Processing private billings, Medicare, DVA and Tyro transactions
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy compliance
  • Supporting doctors, nurses and the reception team

About You

  • Previous medical or healthcare reception experience required
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Best Practice software (preferred)
  • Understanding Medicare and private billing system
