About the role

Xenos Restaurant Bar Cafe' in Crows Nest, NSW is seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Waitstaff to join our vibrant team. 7am to 3pm, 5 days a week. As a member of our service staff, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver outstanding service to our loyal customer base
  • Taking customer orders accurately and communicating them efficiently to the kitchen
  • Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and attentive fashion
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tables are set and cleared promptly
  • Handling cash and card payments accurately
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer queries or concerns
  • Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required
  • Manage your own section with confidence and efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service hospitality role, in a restaurant or cafe environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • A passion for food and hospitality, with a desire to contribute to an exceptional dining experience
  • Availability to work weekends as required
  • Must be well groomed with strong communication skills and fluent English
  • Current RSA certificate essential
  • Wine knowledge will be highly regarded
