About the role

Looking for an exciting career opportunity in the vibrant hospitality industry? Nicks Restaurant & Bar Group, a leading Sydney-based hospitality group, is seeking experienced Senior Waitstaff to join our dynamic team at Nicks Seafood Restaurant. This casual or full time role offers flexible work hours and the chance to be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for our guests
  • Taking food and beverage orders, making recommendations and delivering orders in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to advise customers on menu items and specials
  • Handling payments and operating POS systems accurately
  • Ensuring all tables, service areas and communal spaces are clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
  • Assisting with stock management, inventory and other operational tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior waitstaff or similar customer service role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to work autonomously
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • A passion for food, wine and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
