About the role

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant hospitality environment? We are looking for enthusiastic part-time or casual Waitstaff to join our team at Fat pomelo' in Narrabeen, NSW. As a Waitstaff, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless dining experience to our customers, ensuring they leave with a smile on their face.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Providing recommendations on menu items and specials
  • Taking orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen in a timely manner
  • Delivering food and beverages to tables with a high level of customer service
  • Ensuring the dining area is kept clean, tidy and well-stocked
  • Handling cash and card payments with exceptional attention to detail
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Wait person or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide personalised service
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle the fast-paced nature of the job
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A passion for food and beverages, and a desire to provide an outstanding dining experience
  • Availability to work full-time shifts or on a casual basis, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
