Mackay, Queensland, Australia Orana Drill and Blast Pty Ltd Full time $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Orana Drill & Blast is seeking an experienced top hammer drill operator living in Mackay region and be willing to work throughout QLD when required.

Applicants must have experience in the quarrying or mining sector, good time management, be able to work unsupervised if necessary, a general understanding of maintenance & break down knowledge (changing hoses etc), good communication & paperwork. Can-do attitude a MUST.

Brand New Epiroc Drills - T35 PowerRoc, T40 SmartRoc & T45 PowerRoc.

Inclusions:

  • 2:1 or 2:2 roster

  • Competitive above award rates

  • $3k signing bonus for the right applicant

  • Superannuation

  • Sick pay

  • Holiday pay

  • 38hour per week minimum

  • Light vehicle for work purposes & water trailers.

  • Flights and accommodation included

  • Travel rate when driving long distance

  • $60 meal allowance per/night

  • Meter bonus $50 over 400m/ $100 over 500m

  • 2 week shut down over Christmas

  • Tools supplied

  • Full time maintenance team for major breakdowns.

Certificate III Drilling Operations would be an advantage.

White Card, Drivers License & Coal Board Medical (provided) is a must.
