Drill Operator Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drill Operator to join our team at the QCoal Northern Hub Project in Central Queensland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating drill rigs and ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of minerals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate drill rigs safely and efficiently to meet production targets
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor and record ground conditions and drill hole quality to inform blasting operations
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 12 months drilling experience in the mining industry
  • Verified machinery skills list (Signed Training Transcripts)
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain) and current drivers licence
