We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill Drill Operator positions at our operation in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of drill holes, as well as documenting ground conditions that may impact blasting operations;
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized Drill rig is essential, with prompt reporting and addressing of any maintenance issues;
  • A strong focus on regular and reliable drill metres, rig utilisation and consumables usage is required;
  • Providing clear and complete documentation for drill reports and pre-start checks is crucial;
  • The selected individual will be expected to participate actively in safety assessments and demonstrate a commitment to a positive safety culture;
  • Opportunities for training across various drill rigs in the fleet will be available, requiring an adaptable attitude.
About You
  • A minimum of 12 months of drilling experience in the mining industry, supported by verified machinery skills documentation (Signed Training Transcripts);
  • Verification of machinery skills through Signed Training Transcripts;
  • A proactive attitude with a strong desire to work reliably as part of a team;
  • Holding a current Standard 11 certification (or willingness to obtain) and a valid drivers licence is essential;
  • A commitment to upholding a positive safety culture;

  • Prior experience with rotary or top hammer drills is considered advantageous.
