Drilling Technician Role

We are seeking experienced drilling technicians to join our team at our Northern Hub Project in Central Queensland.

  • Accurately inspect and record the quality and depth of drill holes, as well as ground conditions that may impact blasting.
  • Maintain a safe and organized drill rig and promptly report any maintenance issues.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving regular and reliable drill meters, efficient rig utilization, and optimal consumables usage.
  • Provide accurate and detailed documentation for drill reports and pre-start checks.
  • Foster a proactive approach to safety assessments and participate actively in identifying potential risks.
  • Be willing to undergo training on various drill rigs within the fleet and demonstrate adaptability.

About You:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in drilling operations within the mining industry, with verified machinery skills list (signed training transcripts).

  • A positive attitude with a strong desire to work reliably as part of a team.
  • CURRENT STANDARD 11 (or willingness to obtain) AND CURRENT DRIVERS LICENCE.
  • A strong commitment to a positive safety culture.

  • Experience with rotary or top hammer drills is advantageous.
