Accounts Payable Officer - (FIN

Description

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a critical part in the Followmont network and have a significant impact on our future growth. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be part of a fast paced and passionate environment focusing on the day-to-day maintenance of various accounts payable functions. This role would suit a proactive, organised, self-starter, who is able to work autonomously and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

The Job:

  • Full Time working Monday to Friday
  • Flexible working hours
  • Verification of agent invoices against approved rates and documentation, ensuring discrepancies and credits are identified
  • Preparation of twice weekly and end of month payment runs
  • Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain key supplier relationships
  • Ensure exceptional customer service experience is provided and maintained with all external and internal customers
  • Meet and deliver on KPI's and targets in line with the business strategy

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year previous experience in Accounts Payable, knowledge of the Transport and Logistics industry is highly regarded
  • Demonstrate a high competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) and a commitment to learn any other systems required
  • Focused on providing exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
