The Role
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team on an initial contract basis, with the potential to go permanent. This is a critical hire with an immediate start preferred, managing end-to-end accounts payable processes in a dynamic environment where adaptability is key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end accounts payable transactions through to bank payments
  • Manage up to 100 invoices weekly, plus ad hoc AP tasks as required
  • Allocate costs accurately across multiple programs and cost centres
  • Work with finance systems including ProSpend and Sage Intacct
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries promptly
  • Support the finance team in maintaining timely and accurate records
  • Provide backup cover for colleagues where needed to ensure continuity

About You

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, with end-to-end processing responsibility
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of invoices
  • Comfortable working in a complex environment with multiple cost centres and programs
  • Experience with ProSpend and Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
